| About/Profile | Becky has been a consultant in Chesterfield since 2006. She performs revision and primary hip and knee arthroplasty, and has an interest in improving surgical outcomes and experience for the very elderly. She is a strong proponent of the surgeon, orthogeriatrician, and nurse specialist MDT to achieve thisBecky’s main interest is in medical education. She is an educational supervisor to orthopaedic and GP trainees, and was Foundation Program director for a decade. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer for Sheffield University medical school and a consultant clinical Tutor for Nottingham Medical School. She acts as a trained Mentor for the British Hip Society, and has been Director of Medical Education at Chesterfield since 2020. Outside of work Becky enjoys hiking, outdoor swimming, cake, and preferably a combination of all three. |
